Scientific and academic events announced in Argentina
Argentina will host two distinct scientific and academic events in the coming months. In Puerto Madryn, the CONICET-CENPAT scientific and technological center is relaunching ‘CENPAT Abierto’ on September 27. Under the theme ‘Argentine Science for a Sovereign Future’, the event offers community access to research in biodiversity, botany, archaeology, paleontology, and geology. Activities include visits to the Patagonia Extra Andina Botanical Garden, augmented reality experiences, and discussions regarding the current state of science and technology in the country.
Separately, the National University of the Northwest of Buenos Aires (UNNOBA) will hold its IV Multidisciplinary Congress in Pergamino on October 1 and 2. Operating under the motto ‘Public University: science, education and territory’, the biennial event serves as a platform for scientific and technological dissemination in the northwest region of Buenos Aires province. The program includes scientific paper presentations, the ‘Punto Experiencias’ space for regional business integration, and the Workshop on Innovation and Educational Transformation (WITE).
