Scientific events scheduled for Agadir and Alpes-Maritimes

The sixth Scientific Francophonie Week is scheduled to take place in Agadir, Morocco, from October 12 to 15, 2026. Organized by the Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF), the event will focus on the role of Francophone scientific diplomacy regarding global geopolitical challenges. The program includes a Ministerial Conference, scientific sessions on sustainable development and emerging technologies, and a Youth Congress addressing misinformation and citizenship.

In France, the 35th edition of the Fête de la Science will be held in the Alpes-Maritimes department from October 2 to 12, 2026. Under the theme ‘Saveurs Savantes’, the event explores the connections between science, food, and health. Activities will be hosted across various locations, including Nice, Antibes, and Cannes, featuring laboratory visits, workshops on culinary chemistry, and scientific experiments for the public and students.
