Scientific research explores gender differences in intuition
Psychological and neuroscience research suggests that intuition is a cognitive process where the brain instantaneously processes information, memories, and non-verbal signals at a subconscious level. Rather than a magical power, it functions as a rapid retrieval of past experiences to produce physical sensations or intense emotions.
Studies indicate that intuition manifests differently between genders. Female intuition is often characterized by a high sensitivity to social cues, such as facial micro-expressions, vocal tones, and changes in posture, acting as a social safety radar. In contrast, male intuition tends to be more action-oriented, focusing on spatial awareness, rapid risk assessment, and problem-solving under pressure.
