Sci‑Fi Miniseries ‘Néo Kósmo – Nuovo Orizzonte’ Begins Filming in Jesi, Marche
The six‑episode science‑fiction miniseries “Néo Kósmo – Nuovo Orizzonte”, set in 2049, started shooting on 29 July 2026 in Jesi, Marche. Directed by Adelmo Togliani, the cast features Giorgia Surina, Hana Vagnerová, Luca Vecchi and other Italian performers. Filming locations include Villa Zanuso in Jesi and nearby towns such as Senigallia, Vallesina, Filottrano, Chiaravalle, Cupramontana and Monsano.
The series is produced by Santa Ponsa Film with support from SMI Group, the Regione Marche, Fondazione Marche Cultura and the Marche Film Commission, financed partly by the EU’s FESR 2021‑2027 programme. Director Togliani said the story “explores how artificial intelligence and virtual reality affect human empathy”. Fondazione Marche Cultura president Andrea Agostini noted that the shoot has involved 16 local actors, 19 crew members and about 80 regional extras, highlighting its economic impact. The miniseries is scheduled for release after 14 August.
