Scigliano hosts historical reenactments at Roman bridge
In Scigliano, historical reenactments centered around a Roman bridge on the Savuto River were held on October 11. Due to adverse weather conditions, the festivities were moved to Piazza Carmine Golia.
The event featured various historical groups from Sicily, Puglia, and Calabria, including Legio X Fretensis and Legio XV Apollinaris. Participants engaged in dances, costume displays, and educational demonstrations regarding ancient life. The day concluded with a communal meal featuring local products such as Reventino pasta, Savuto meat, and regional wines.
