SCM Carola inaugurates community center in Tierra Amarilla

Sociedad Contractual Minera Carola has inaugurated a new community center in Tierra Amarilla to support local social organizations and residents. The facility has a capacity for 100 people and is designed to host meetings, workshops, training sessions, and cultural activities.

The project aims to strengthen community engagement and participation in the region. During the inauguration ceremony, which included regional and local authorities, SCM Carola General Manager Víctor Hugo Álvarez Ávalos stated that the building serves as a common space for all generations to connect and strengthen social ties. Tierra Amarilla Mayor Cristóbal Zúñiga Arancibia also praised the mining company's contribution to local development through public-private partnerships.
