SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea wins opening match of Constantin Tită Memorial
The Constantin Tită Memorial women's handball tournament commenced at the Traian Sports Hall in Râmnicu Vâlcea. In the opening matches, SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea defeated the Hungarian side DVSC Kezilabda with a score of 28-25. ZRK Buducnost Podgorica also secured a victory, defeating RK Krim OTP Group Mercator Ljubljana 24-22.
Following these results, the tournament schedule includes a placement match between Krim and Debrecen, while SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea and Buducnost Podgorica are set to compete for the trophy.
SCM Râmnicu Vâlcea, led by coach Florentin Pera, has undergone significant roster changes with over 80% of the squad being new.
