Scoglitti and Terracina host Italian beach sports tournaments this summer

Terracina's Rive di Traiano beach arena hosted the Coppa Italia TPRA beach tennis competition, featuring 12 teams across men's, women's and mixed doubles. The event, organized by the RDT Summer Village and promoted by its president Francesco Cascarini, offered the winners qualification for the national finals, underscoring the town's growing role in Italy's beach‑sport calendar.

From August 4 to 9, the seaside town of Scoglitti in Sicily staged the grand finale of the 2026 Beach Soccer Tour, the concluding round of the national beach‑soccer championship. The tournament, partnered with Q8 Italia, attracted teams and spectators for high‑energy matches, family activities and local food vendors, highlighting the sport's popularity on Italian coasts.
