Scoglitti Arena hosts Final Eight quarters, Viareggio wins Under‑20 title

The beach‑soccer Final Eight quarterfinals kicked off at the Puntocuore Beach Arena in Scoglitti, Italy. Matches began at 17:00 with Viareggio versus Napoli, followed by the highly anticipated Cagliari versus We Beach Catania at 18:30, then Sambenedettese versus Milano at 20:30 and Pisa versus Terracina at 22:00.

In the Under‑20 championship, Ecoris Viareggio secured the title after a 7‑5 penalty‑shootout win over Icierre Lamezia, the teams having drawn 3‑3 in regular time. It is Viareggio’s fourth Under‑20 crown (2021‑2023) and completes a season double with the senior Scudetto. Individual awards went to Valentino Bartoli (MVP), Franco Olgo Rubino (best goalkeeper) and Tommaso Pietrocarlo (top scorer with eight goals). The event was organized by the Italian Beach Soccer League (LND) with support from Regione Sicilia and local authorities.
