Scoop Opspell opens magic-themed gelato shop in Seoul

Scoop Opspell, a gelato shop located in Nokbeon-dong, Eunpyeong-gu, Seoul, opened in March. The shop features a unique aesthetic with a brick exterior and an arched entrance designed to evoke a sense of magic, reminiscent of a fantasy setting.

The owner, Kim Ye-ji, transitioned from a long career as a planner to artisanal gelato making. After deciding to pursue a more tangible form of creation, she opened the shop just one month after deciding to enter the industry. The shop offers an interactive experience where customers can decorate cards with various stickers while waiting for their gelato, serving as a way for patrons to communicate their experiences.
