Scooter manufacturers Wuyang-Honda and TEYIN introduce new models

The scooter market is seeing significant shifts driven by new technological and performance offerings. Wuyang-Honda has seen substantial success with its NWT150 150cc model, which has approached cumulative sales of 100,000 units since its September 2025 launch. The 2026 version of the NWT150 maintains its competitive pricing in China, ranging from approximately 15,360 to 18,180 yuan, while introducing an upgraded eW15 engine and a new three-chamber silencer system to reduce noise.

Simultaneously, TEYIN is preparing to enter the high-performance segment with a new 450cc two-cylinder sport scooter. Utilizing a 398cc Loncin engine shared with the Voge SR450X, the model produces 31 kW of power and 42 Nm of torque. This two-cylinder configuration aims to provide smoother performance and reduced vibration compared to traditional single-cylinder 350cc maxi-scooters. Industry experts suggest the vehicle could be priced around 33,000 yuan, positioning it as a high-value alternative in the premium scooter market.
