Heatwave and Thunderstorm Warnings Sweep Ireland and Parts of the UK

Local authorities in Dublin and South‑Dublin counties reminded residents of the combined dangers of extreme heat and thunderstorms, including flash flooding and health risks for vulnerable groups. Across the region, schools, transport services and power networks have experienced disruptions, and emergency services are on standby for flood‑related incidents.
