Scotmid raises record £474,474 for Alzheimer's charities

Scotmid has announced its highest-ever fundraising total for its annual charity partnership, raising £474,474. The campaign was led by Alzheimer Scotland, with support from the Alzheimer’s Society in England and Northern Ireland.

Fundraising efforts included employee and customer activities such as sponsored walks, runs, and digital micro-donations via the charity Pennies. The initiative also featured the ‘Big Brain Tour,’ an inflatable brain installation named after Dame Barbara Windsor, which visited various communities to promote brain health education. The program extended to schools, providing brain health lessons and handbooks to over 11,000 pupils.
