Scott Foley cast as U.S. President in Hulu pilot ‘Young Americans’

Scott Foley has joined the cast of the Hulu drama pilot ‘Young Americans’ as a series regular. Foley will portray Judd Burchfield, the President of the United States, described as a principled politician driven by heartland instincts.

The character is depicted as struggling to maintain stability for both his family and the nation following the tragic death of his eldest daughter, while facing a personal political rivalry.

The series, written and executive produced by Chris Hutton and Eddie O’Keefe, focuses on the children of the nation’s elite at Capitol Crest Academy in Washington, D.C. The narrative follows how the teenage dramas and forbidden romances of these students mirror the high-stakes political games and scandals of their parents.
