Scott Jennings addresses White House press secretary vacancy

During a CNN broadcast of ‘The Source’, commentator Scott Jennings addressed the vacancy of the White House press secretary position following the dismissal of Katie Zacharia.

When asked by colleagues if he was seeking the role, Jennings denied interest, stating he would not negotiate personnel prospects on television. He advised the president to appoint a highly qualified individual with significant experience, credibility, and management skills to handle the daily media presence and the staff within the office. Jennings noted that the new appointee would face a potentially hostile environment depending on midterm election outcomes.
