Scott McTominay considers Real Madrid move if approached by Mourinho

Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay has indicated he would consider a transfer to Real Madrid if approached by manager José Mourinho. In an interview with Corriere della Sera, the 29-year-old Scottish international noted that his previous relationship with Mourinho, who gave him his debut at Manchester United, would heavily influence such a decision.

McTominay has become a key figure at Napoli since joining in August 2024. His recent performances include being named Serie A MVP and finishing 18th in the 2025 Ballon d'Or rankings. He currently holds a contract with the Italian club until June 2028 with an annual salary of approximately 5.6 million euros.

Additionally, McTominay addressed a recent health diagnosis, revealing he has a benign arrhythmia. He is scheduled to undergo an ablation procedure to regulate his heart rhythm but expressed confidence in a quick recovery.
