Scott McTominay targeted by Manchester United and Aston Villa

Manchester United and Aston Villa are reportedly interested in re-signing Scott McTominay, who is currently playing for Napoli. Following his departure from United, the Scottish midfielder has seen a significant rise in form, contributing 27 goals in 82 appearances for the Italian club and helping them secure a Scudetto.

Contract negotiations between McTominay and Napoli have reportedly reached an impasse due to wage demands, making a transfer likely in the near future. Napoli is expected to set an asking price between €25m and €30m. While Manchester United is considering a return for their former academy graduate, Aston Villa is also expected to compete for his signature.
