Silverstone Grand Prix: Guevara and Ogden claim pole positions

Qualifying sessions for the British Grand Prix at Silverstone saw record-breaking performances in the Moto2 and Moto3 classes.

In Moto2, Izan Guevara (Boscoscuro) secured pole position and set a new all-time lap record for the circuit with a time of 2:01.483. The session included a red flag caused by a collision between Zonta van den Goorbergh and Mario Aji. Alonso Lopez and Ivan Ortola completed the front row.

In Moto3, British rider Scott Ogden claimed a historic home pole position, setting a time of 2:09.126. His teammate Adrian Cruces took second, followed by Valentin Perrone. The session was marked by a heavy crash involving championship leader Maximo Quiles, which left him in visible pain and potentially affecting his ability to participate in the race.
