Scott has unveiled the 2027 model year of the Addict Gravel, shifting the bike's focus from racing performance toward increased comfort, stability, and versatility. The redesign prioritizes long-distance riding and handling on varied terrain.
A major update is the expanded tire clearance, which now accommodates widths up to 57 mm, including 2.2-inch mountain bike tires. To achieve this without altering the bike's length, engineers narrowed the chainstays to 8.5 mm at their thinnest point.
Structural changes aim to improve ride quality through targeted flexibility. The new design includes curved fork blades and a revised head tube to increase front compliance by 30%. At the rear, a reduced seat tube cross-section and redesigned seat stays provide a 60% improvement in compliance when using a rigid seatpost.
