Scottish Government funds rescue of Loganair island routes

Loganair announced it could no longer sustain its Inverness‑to‑Northern and Western Isles services, prompting the airline to suspend flights in June. Cross‑party MSPs welcomed the funding, describing the flights as essential for hospital appointments, local businesses and community connections.
