Scottish MSP backs UNESCO status campaign for morning roll

Food historian Peter Gilchrist is leading the campaign to have the roll recognized internationally. Supporters note that the morning roll has been a fixture of Scottish life for over 300 years, serving as a staple in communities, bakeries, and households across the country.
