Scottsdale Mayor visits New Taipei City to deepen cooperation

Lisa Borowsky, the Mayor of Scottsdale, Arizona, met with New Taipei City Deputy Mayor Liu He-ran to discuss deepening cooperation between the two cities. The discussions focused on economic trade, tourism, culture, and urban governance.

New Taipei City highlighted its diverse industrial clusters, including electronics, information technology, and smart manufacturing. Scottsdale, a major city in the Phoenix metropolitan area, emphasized its strengths in high technology, biotechnology, investment attraction, and tourism.

Mayor Borowsky invited New Taipei City to participate in SEMICON West, which will be held in the Phoenix metropolitan area next April. This meeting serves as a foundation for expanding practical cooperation in trade, culture, and sustainable urban management.
