Scotty McCreery plans to reduce touring to spend time with family
Country singer and American Idol winner Scotty McCreery has indicated that while he has no plans to retire, he intends to reduce his touring schedule in the near future.
Speaking on Taste of Country Nights, McCreery explained that his desire to perform fewer shows on the road is driven by a wish to be more present for his growing family. He noted that his oldest son, Avery, is reaching an age where he will be involved in school activities and Little League, and McCreery wants to avoid missing these milestones.
