Scouting movement offers youth development programs in Greece

As the new school year begins, the Scouting movement offers an alternative to the routine of studying and screen time through its multi-level educational programs. Founded in 1907 by Robert Baden-Powell in England, Scouting is a global pedagogical movement aimed at developing responsible citizens through experiential learning, cooperation, and social contribution.

In Greece, the movement organizes children into age-specific groups to ensure appropriate developmental approaches. These include the Wolf Cubs (ages 6-10), who focus on nature, teamwork, and exploration through play, and the Scout Group (ages 10-14), which serves as the intermediate stage for youth development.
