Scouts join Saint Paraskevi procession on Alonnisos island

A luminous religious procession honoring Saint Paraskevi, the patron saint of the Greek island of Alonnisos, took place with active involvement from Scout groups. More than 40 Scouts from the 1st Alonnisos Scout System and additional units—including the 1st Thermis Scout System, the 4th Sykies Thessaloniki Scout System, and the 3rd Air Scout System of Larissa—participated in the march, providing colour and vitality to the celebration.

The event was part of the nationwide Large Outdoor Action (Megali Drasi Ypaithrou) programme. A musical band from the 1st Alonnisos Scout Group accompanied the procession, underscoring the spirit of cooperation, solidarity and youth participation in local cultural and religious traditions. The host Scout system thanked all participants and wished health and blessings for the island and its inhabitants.
