Screamer arcade racer slated for Nintendo Switch 2 after German USK rating

No official announcement has been made, but the arcade racing gameScreamer received a USK classification for the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2, indicating a strong possibility of a future release on the console. The game is developed by Milestone, the studio behind the upcoming Hot Wheels: Infinite Rush, and was first unveiled earlier this year with an anime‑inspired, neon‑lit futuristic setting.

Screamer pits five distinct teams—soldiers, scientists, criminals, superstars and ruthless magnates—against each other in a high‑speed tournament. Players use the ECHO system to boost, strike and shield their vehicles, with an Overdrive mode that turns races into chaotic battles. The title will support online, split‑screen and team‑race modes.

The USK rating, Germany’s video‑game age‑classification board, is not a formal announcement but is viewed by industry observers as a clear signal that Nintendo is preparing to certify the game for its next‑generation handheld.
