Luna launches Luna Band screenless fitness tracker

Luna has launched the Luna Band, a screenless fitness tracker designed to compete with established brands like Whoop and Fitbit. Priced at $149/€149, the device distinguishes itself by offering full functionality without a recurring monthly subscription.

The lightweight, 24-gram wearable features a nylon strap and lacks a display to minimize distractions. It monitors various health metrics, including heart rate, skin temperature, blood oxygen (SpO2), sleep patterns, and VO2 max. The device is water-resistant up to 5 ATM and offers up to 10 days of battery life.

A central component of the Luna Band is LifeOS, an artificial intelligence-driven health platform. LifeOS uses biometric data to provide personalized daily guidance and recommendations through a mobile app. The software is designed to adapt its monitoring behavior based on the user's specific health goals and individual baselines.
