SCS Software announces Euro Truck Simulator 2 Iceland DLC release date

SCS Software has announced that the Iceland DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 is scheduled for release on November 10, 2026. The expansion will feature 14 cities and settlements, including Reykjavík and Akureyri, and will allow players to drive along the iconic 1,400 km Ring Road.

The DLC aims to capture Iceland's diverse natural environments, such as fjords, volcanic fields, waterfalls, and cliffs. Players may also encounter the Northern Lights under specific conditions. Gameplay elements include unique industries like a silica factory in Husavík, narrow single-lane bridges, and a realistic day-night cycle that varies significantly by season.

While the expansion will be available on PC, a release date for the base game on consoles like PS5 and Xbox has not yet been determined. Future content from the developer includes planned DLCs for Ireland and Turkey, as well as map reworks for parts of the United Kingdom.
