SCSD launches new website to improve transparency in Suriname

The Suriname Competitiveness and Sector Diversification Project (SCSD) has launched a new website designed to serve as a central information hub for its activities and developments. The digital platform aims to improve transparency and accessibility for stakeholders regarding the project’s goals, publications, and institutional reforms.

Developed by Bitdynamics, the website is intended to facilitate better communication with the public and stakeholders. It includes features such as a contact form for sharing feedback and experiences. The project focuses on strengthening governance, transparency, and administrative processes, particularly within the mining sector. This includes supporting the institutional and legal framework for mining and the development of the Delfstoffen Autoriteit Suriname (DAS).

Beyond mining, the SCSD supports initiatives to enhance Suriname’s competitiveness and develop high-growth sectors, including agribusiness and tourism.
