SCT analyzes nighttime transport fares for FENAPO

The Secretaría de Comunicaciones y Transportes (SCT) is currently analyzing a special nighttime fare for public transportation during the Feria Nacional Potosina (FENAPO). SCT head Araceli Martínez Acosta stated that a decision regarding the rate for services provided after midnight is expected to be announced by Friday.

Martínez Acosta addressed reports of irregular charges, noting that some users were allegedly charged 20 pesos despite the current standard fare being 13.50 pesos. She emphasized that such overcharges must not occur and that the SCT will prioritize monitoring these services.

To support mobility during the fair, urban transport will extend operations until approximately 1:00 a.m., and taxi stands will remain available until 3:00 a.m. Additionally, the Red Metro and free transit routes will expand their schedules to assist attendees. SCT personnel will conduct field supervision until 3:00 a.m. to ensure compliance.
