Scuf Gaming and SteelSeries announce new premium gaming controllers

Scuf Gaming and SteelSeries have announced new high-end gaming controller lineups targeting competitive and multi-platform players.

Scuf Gaming introduced the Nemesis Pro 8K family, featuring both wired and wireless models for PC. The controllers offer a polling rate of up to 8K, providing response times under 1 ms. Key technical specifications include TMR (tunnel magnetoresistance) analog sticks designed to reduce stick drift, mechanical buttons for tactile feedback, and dual-mode instant triggers that can switch between short-stroke and full-analog modes. The hardware is supported by a dedicated PC app for advanced customization.

SteelSeries unveiled the Aeon Pro, a premium controller priced at $260. It features a patent-pending ‘QuickSwitch’ system that allows users to switch instantly between a PC and an Xbox console without re-pairing or changing settings. The device includes a QuickSwitch Dock System for connectivity across PC, Xbox, and mobile devices, as well as an ‘Unlimited Battery Life’ feature utilizing two rechargeable batteries—one in use and one charging in the dock. The controller also features an integrated OLED Smart Display.
