European Researchers' Night promotes science across Europe
The European Researchers' Night initiative is hosting various events across Europe to promote scientific culture and connect the public with research projects.
In Portugal, the Municipality of Oeiras is organizing activities at the Palácio Marquês de Pombal gardens, featuring science stalls, interactive games, and direct contact with researchers from approximately 40 institutions.
In Italy, several cities are participating. Bari will host eighty stands and laboratories in Piazza Umberto I through a network of universities and research institutes. ENEA will open its research centers in Casaccia (Rome) and Portici (Naples), offering tours of nuclear reactors, seismic technology simulations, and a live video link to the Concordia base in Antarctica. In Pisa, the Scuola Normale Superiore will offer workshops, talks, and guided laboratory visits.
In Spain, Berga will host micro-lectures and scientific shows at the Convent de Sant Francesc to bring innovation closer to citizens.
