Scuola Pasolini to hold ninth edition in Corigliano-Rossano

The ninth edition of the ‘Scuola Pasolini’ is scheduled to take place in Corigliano-Rossano from September 7 to 10. The program focuses on the relationship between Pier Paolo Pasolini’s poetic and intellectual work and the various genres and languages he utilized, including poetry, the novel, cinema, documentary, theater, and painting.

Organized by the Società Internazionale Pier Paolo Pasolini, the educational project employs an interdisciplinary approach that integrates philology, linguistics, literary criticism, film history, art history, and anthropology. The goal is to provide young scholars with analytical tools to decode Pasolini’s complex body of work.

The school is supported by several institutions, including Sorbonne Université’s Équipe Littérature et Culture Italiennes, the University of Calabria, and the University of Trieste. Lectures will be delivered by a group of Italian and international specialists from various universities.
