SDA begins coalition negotiations in Zenica-Doboj Canton
The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) has initiated negotiations to form a new majority and government in Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK). Nermin Mandra, president of the SDA's ZDK Cantonal Committee, announced that the party is holding talks with potential partners to establish a programmatic coalition.
Based on unconfirmed election results, the SDA is projected to hold 14 mandates, though Mandra expects the final count to reach 15. Under the proposed arrangement, the SDA would secure the position of Prime Minister. Mandra emphasized that the future government should prioritize professional expertise and teamwork rather than individual resource competition.
Negotiations are ongoing, and a formal agreement is not expected to be signed within the current week as partners define their specific requirements and proposals.
