SDA criticizes Denis Bećirović over BHRT financial crisis

The Party of Democratic Action (SDA) has criticized Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Chairman Denis Bećirović, claiming his political actions have failed to prevent a financial collapse at the state public broadcaster, BHRT.

According to the SDA, despite previous conclusions adopted by the Presidency calling for the urgent implementation of the Public RTV System Law and the collection of 103.5 million KM in debt, BHRT’s accounts remain blocked. The party argues that the systemic financing problem remains unresolved and a legal model for distributing the RTV tax has not been established.

The SDA further asserted that Bećirović cannot participate in forming the government and then distance himself from the decisions of the ruling majority. They suggested that instead of issuing public appeals and conclusions, the Chairman should have engaged in concrete political work with coalition partners to ensure the Council of Ministers implements a sustainable financing solution.
