Södertälje rescue services save two from capsized dinghy
Rescue services in Södertälje, Sweden, successfully rescued two individuals after their dinghy capsized on August 16, 2026. The incident was reported via VHF channel 16 by the Flight and Sea Rescue Center.
Upon arriving at the scene, rescuers located floating life jackets, clothing, and footwear in the water. After scanning nearby islands with binoculars, the crew located the two missing persons and brought them on board. The dinghy, which had taken on water in its hulls, was towed to a calm bay and then transported to a safe harbor.
