Södertälje SK and MoDo Hockey secure preseason victories

Södertälje SK ended their preseason losing streak with a 2-1 victory over Karlskoga. Goalkeeper Love Härenstam made 30 saves to secure the win. Carter Souch opened the scoring for SSK in the first period, followed by a Karlskoga equalizer from Gustaf Franzén in the second. Filip Holst scored the decisive goal in the third period.

In another preseason matchup, MoDo Hockey defeated Östersunds IK 5-4 in a shootout. After a high-scoring regulation period that ended 4-4, Elton Hermansson scored the winning goal in the penalty shootout. MoDo's goals during regulation were provided by Troy Bourke (2), Elton Hermansson (2), and Marcus Karlberg.
