SDI Rescue Diver course training completed in Echizen

A participant completed the SDI Rescue Diver course, which includes both theoretical classroom study and practical skill training. The curriculum covers identifying panicked divers, approaching them safely, and performing rescues such as retrieving an unconscious diver from a depth of 6 meters and towing them to shore.

The training also integrated First Response emergency care, involving simulations of chest compressions and artificial respiration. Participants practiced coordinating with bystanders to delegate tasks, such as calling emergency services and rotating rescuers to manage physical exhaustion. The course concluded with ocean practical training in Echizen, where students applied their skills in real-world conditions, including searching for missing divers and performing shore-based rescues.
