Südostlink Power Line Planning Discussed in Bavarian Farmer Info Sessions

The Bavarian Farmers Association (Bayerischer Bauernverband) organized a series of informational meetings for landowners and farmers located in the proposed route of the Südostlink high‑voltage transmission line. The sessions, held both in person and online between 30 November and 13 December 2022, targeted property owners in the districts of Neustadt‑Waldnaab, Tirschenreuth, Schwandorf, Barbing and Bayerbach.

During the meetings, the association presented a framework agreement negotiated with TenneT TSO GmbH that outlines compensation measures for affected land and farms. The agenda emphasized that participation was limited to owners within the corridor and that the events were not open to the general public. Dates and venues included the Gasthof Rechersimer in Reuth b. Erbendorf (08 Dec), the Turmrestaurant in Klardorf (05 Dec), the Gasthaus Deutsch in Barbing (07 Dec) and the Bäckerei Weinzierl in Bayerbach (13 Dec), with additional video‑conference options.
