SDSM accuses Mickoski of inflating David Guetta concert attendance and costs

The SDSM political party has issued a sharp critique of VMRO-DPMNE leader Hristijan Mickoski regarding the recent David Guetta concert in Skopje. The dispute centers on two main allegations: the accuracy of attendance figures and the true cost of the event.

SDSM claims that while David Guetta reported approximately 50,000 fans attended the show, Mickoski inflated this figure to over 200,000 citizens. Furthermore, the party disputes Mickoski’s assertion that the celebration cost the citizens zero denars. SDSM alleges the event actually cost 5.53 million euros, funded through the State Lottery, which they argue constitutes public money since the lottery is state-owned.

The party accused the leadership of using inflated statistics to misrepresent the economy and social indicators, characterizing the event as a misuse of funds intended for the public budget.
