SDSM accuses Minister Stoilković of promoting Chinese and Russian agendas

The SDSM political party has accused Ivan Stoilković, a minister in Hristijan Mickoski’s government, of promoting the agendas of China and Russia. Keti Šterjova of SDSM stated that Stoilković is promoting strategic investments and business interests involving Chinese funding.

Šterjova claimed that while the United States views China and Russia as threats to regional stability and Euro-Atlantic integration, the current government is actively pursuing cooperation with China. The party further alleged that these actions aim to distance North Macedonia from the European Union and move it closer to authoritarian influences.
