Sūduva Marijampolė extends lead in TOPLYGA standings

In the 28th round of the TOPLYGA football season, Marijampolė Sūduva extended its lead at the top of the table by defeating Panevėžys 2-0. This victory continues a winning streak for Sūduva, while Panevėžys suffered its 13th loss of the season, dropping to 8th place.

Other notable results included Žalgiris Vilnius securing a 2-0 home victory against Telšiai Džiugas. In Gargždai, Banga played to a 1-1 draw against Hegelmann, with Hegelmann's goal coming after the introduction of Brazilian players Richard dos Santos and Nathan Silva. Vaidas Magdušauskas provided a key assist for Misaki Sato during the match.
