Sea Limited reports $7.8 billion revenue in Q2 2026

Sea Limited, the Singapore-based technology conglomerate and parent company of Shopee, reported strong financial results for the second quarter of 2026. The company recorded total revenue of approximately $7.8 billion, a 48.1% increase year-over-year, with a net profit of $458.1 million, up 10.6%.

While Shopee remains the largest segment by scale, generating $5.6 billion in revenue and processing 4.2 billion orders, it is not the primary driver of profit. Shopee’s adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was approximately $255 million. In contrast, the digital entertainment segment, Garena, emerged as the most profitable division. Despite generating significantly lower revenue of $747 million, Garena contributed nearly $430 million in adjusted EBITDA, outperforming Shopee’s profitability by roughly 68%.

Garena’s performance was bolstered by the popularity of the game Free Fire, which maintains over 100 million daily active users. The company reported over 666 million total active users for the quarter, with paying users increasing by more than 10% compared to the previous year.
