Seabourn launches Ruby Collection of 54 cruises to mark 40th anniversary
Seabourn announced the Ruby Collection, a curated program of 54 voyages for 2028 that celebrates the cruise line’s 40‑year history. The series spans the company's five‑ship fleet and includes itineraries across the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Southeast Asia, Japan, Alaska, Northern Europe, the Arctic and Antarctica.
Highlights are a 120‑day “Cape to Cape” world cruise departing 7 January 2028 on Seabourn Quest, covering more than 26,000 nautical miles in 58 destinations, and a 96‑day “Grand Expedition: Pole to Pole” leaving 16 August 2028 on Seabourn Venture that will sail from the High Arctic to Antarctica. The Yachtsman Collection offers intimate Caribbean and Mediterranean sailings, while new port calls feature Taiwan’s Taichung and Tainan, Alaska’s Petersburg and Valdez, the Faroe Islands’ Tvøroyri and Ireland’s Cape Clear Island, among others.
Seabourn President Mark Tamis said, “Our journey began when we redefined cruising with the world’s first fleet of luxury small ships… As we celebrate 40 years of exploration, that same pioneering spirit shapes The Ruby Collection.” All voyages are now open for booking.
