Seafood price changes reported in Kuwait and Egypt markets

In Kuwait, wholesale fish and seafood prices on 29 July 2026 showed mixed movements. The price of قشر البياض rose to 310 EGP per kilogram from 190 EGP, while the price of ممتاز جمبري fell by about 25 EGP to a range of 800‑900 EGP per kilogram. The price of المكرونة السويسي dropped 10 EGP to 80‑170 EGP per kilogram. Other items such as البلطي, السبيط and الكابوريا remained within their reported ranges.

In Egypt, the Al‑Obour wholesale market on 30 July 2026 reported similar volatility. القشر البياض decreased to 190‑290 EGP per kilogram, a drop of 20 EGP, and البلطي الممتاز fell by 1 EGP to 74‑80 EGP. By contrast, الكابوريا rose by 10 EGP to a range of 50‑200 EGP. Prices for ممتاز جمبري stayed between 780‑900 EGP, while المكرونة السويسي fell 10 EGP to 80‑160 EGP per kilogram. Other seafood items, including السبيط, السمك القرش and الماكريل المجمد, saw price adjustments within their listed ranges.
