SeaHorses Mikawa hosts community sports and engagement events

SeaHorses Mikawa has conducted several community engagement activities in Aichi Prefecture. On July 23, 2026, the basketball team held a ‘Human Rights Sports Clinic’ at Kariya City Gymnasium. Players Kousuke Ishii and Shogo Taira, along with Assistant Coach Aki Okubo, participated in the event to teach elementary school students about teamwork, empathy, and bullying prevention. The players also delivered lectures regarding the impact of social media and the importance of considering others' perspectives.

Additionally, the team will host ‘SeaHorses Mikawa Support Week’ at Anjo Industrial Culture Park Denpark from August 17 to August 23, 2026. During this period, players Seiji Nagano and Kousuke Ishii will participate in park announcements. The week includes a special stage event featuring Super Girls on August 22.
