Various Japanese sports and leisure events announced

Several upcoming events and promotional campaigns have been announced in Japan across the fishing, basketball, and football sectors.

In Yokohama, the Fishing Fest 2027 is scheduled to take place at Pacifico Yokohama from January 22 to 24, 2027. Organized by the Japan Fishing Tackle Industry Association, the event will feature specialized stadiums for different fishing types, educational sessions, and exclusive merchandise. Tickets are currently available for purchase via the Tixplus app.

In basketball, the Seahorses Mikawa team is hosting an “All Blue Series” against the Ryukyu Golden Kings at IG Arena on March 6 and 7, 2026. As part of the promotion, the club is inviting fans to submit phrases for “Aoharu T-shirts,” which will be distributed to the first 10,000 attendees each day.

In football, Order Suits SADA, the official suit supplier for Avispa Fukuoka, will hold a reservation sales event on November 7, 2026, during the J1 League match against V-Varen Nagasaki. The event offers fans the opportunity to order custom suits and ties identical to those worn by the players.
