Sean Clancy Jr. earns UFC contract with TKO victory

Scottish welterweight prospect Sean Clancy Jr. secured a UFC contract following a second-round TKO victory over Gary Balletto at Dana White’s Contender Series 89 in Las Vegas.

During the bout at the Meta APEX, Clancy utilized a ground-and-pound approach to force a stoppage at the 3:54 mark of the second round. The win maintains Clancy’s unbeaten record, moving him to 8-0 (noted as 9-0 in subsequent reports).

Following the performance, Clancy expressed his readiness for the UFC, stating he is prepared to fight “anybody, anywhere, any time.” He noted that while he maintains a respectful demeanor outside the cage, his intention in competition is to inflict maximum damage.
