Sean Combs files counterclaims against producer Rodney Jones

Sean Combs, known as Diddy, has filed counterclaims against producer Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones in response to a $30 million sexual assault lawsuit. Combs’ legal team denies Jones’ allegations that the mogul ordered the procurement of sex workers or forced him to consume drugs and alcohol during the production of ‘The Love Album: Off The Grid’.

Instead, the defense argues that Jones had a personal proclivity for hiring sex workers on his own accord and consumed substances of his own volition. The counterclaims also include allegations of defamation and theft, specifically regarding a claim that Jones stole personal video footage to sell to Netflix for use in a documentary produced by 50 Cent.

Jones’ original lawsuit, active since February 2024, includes allegations of sexual assault and claims of witnessing alarming incidents, including shootings and the presence of firearms at Combs’ residences. Combs’ lawyers characterize Jones’ actions as a campaign to ‘seek revenge and profit’ from the artist.
