Sean Combs' lawyers seek dismissal of escort's lawsuit

Lawyers representing Sean “Diddy” Combs have filed a motion to dismiss a lawsuit brought by former escort Clayton Howard, using a restaurant menu analogy to argue against claims of sexual coercion. In a court filing, the defense argued that Howard’s repeated paid visits undercut his allegations, stating, “Howard is similar to a restaurant, offering choices both on and off the menu.” The legal team contends that Howard had the agency to refuse specific requests or services and accused him of seeking litigation to replace lost income.

Howard’s amended complaint maintains a distinction between accepting payment for sexual encounters and consenting to the specific conditions described in the suit. He alleges that his participation was maintained through misrepresentation, drugging, physical restraint, and coercion. Specific allegations include a 2016 incident in Miami where Howard claims his identification, phone, and clothing were taken, leaving him unable to leave a room for approximately 12 hours. Howard also claims he witnessed Combs assault Cassie Ventura during the encounter.
